About Us
We aim to support, equip, and enable the wide range of individuals, churches and community projects involved in local neighbourhood activities that build community and tackle poverty.
We are a charity of the Church of England Birmingham, a part of the Community Regeneration department, and as such recognise the important part faith can play for many people in motivating them to be involved in addressing issues of poverty, inequality and social justice.
Our Approach
We work with people and organisations of all faiths and none to develop activities that meet the needs of their communities; supporting them to build strong relationships and collaborate with other people who are also committed to addressing issues of poverty and social justice, and to helping their neighbourhoods flourish.
At our heart are our Values - Compassion, Collaboration and Integrity.
Who's Who
We have a team of committed staff, trustees and associates who work on range of activities.
Where we work
There are a number of projects across the city and beyond that Thrive support in different ways, (see map below). We do not run these activities, they are run by local people in their communities, we seek to support and resource them where we can.
